Emi Takahashi is a Japanese-French-Canadian artist and designer based in Tkaronto/Toronto. Her practice involves experimenting with alternative & analog forms of image-making, glyph & type design, archival projects, and multidisciplinary collaborations.

Currently working on:

• Experimental digital archive that reimagines and recontextualizes The Asianadian (1978-1985), the first pan-​​Asian Canadian social justice magazine, with Michelle Kuan
  
• Kachi-Buwa onomatopoeic exhibition at My monkey gallery, with Michelle Kuan and Hinako Omori
• Glyph design, material exploration, art production, and website development for upcoming shop collaboration with Michelle Kuan
• Visual identity for InterAccess' Vector Festival 2023, an experimental media arts festival, with Rebecca Wilkinson
• Visuals for textile artist Akash Inbakumar's upcoming exhibition at the Art Gallery of Burlington
• Artist book in collaboration with Michelle Kuan, for writer and artist Anna Daliza
